I was reading some articles about why SSL/HTTPS instead of HTTP, and I've noticed that my browser, which has an addon that redirects me to https if the site has https available, wouldn't redirect me to the HTTPS on this forum.

A quick look at the https://forum.adamslair.net domain revealed that the domain is invalid because it is self-signed.

So, Adam, why not solve this problem at once by issuing a Let's Encrypt certificate? It's free!

Nice thought! Done. ^^ It's experimental though, so no automatic https redirect for now. Try it everyone, and tell me if everything works for you.

However, my WordPress blog doesn't seem to be fine with having both http and https URLs supported, so the stylesheet on https is unavailable and the site looks a bit ugly - this might solve itself when defaulting to https later though.

Edit: Read up on this here and this might take a bit of effort to move the blog. Not sure when I'll get around to this, so no SSL for the blog for now. Sorry!

Anyway, besides the forum you should also be able to access the Duality info page using SSL now.

Just a question: is it possible to issue a LE certificate for all subdomains? If yes, not use only a single certificate? :P

Nope, as far as I can see you'll have to enter the exact subdomain and the certificate won't be valid for the others. Each subdomain (except www) needs its own certificate.
