I was working on my Breakout game, when I noticed that my sprites looked weird. Then I found out this:

Image

Both sprites had the same Y position (85.30), the red sprite had 148.66 X, while the blue one had 188.66 X. Both sprites have 0 sprite and rect offsets.

EDIT:

Red Sprite:
X: 148.66
Y: 85.30
Z: 750

Blue Sprite:
X: 188.66
Y: 85.30
Z: 750

Is Z = 0 for both as well?

Actually, it's 750 for both sprites.

Is one of them scaled, maybe?

If not, can we get two screenshots with each of the bricks selected and all tabs expanded in the inspector, so we can have a look at all of the values?

Also, a zoomed out version could be helpful, so we can see the bricks completely and not just their upper edge. It's really hard to say for sure what's causing this.

Is this zoom any better?

EDIT: both sprites are the same prefab, they are just painted differently. one is red, the other one is blue.

AHA!

it seems that the "issue" is that they are both slightly rotated (0.3).. nothing much per se, but enough to make the edges look wrong :)

If you draw a straight line with a paint program, you will see that each corresponding corner aligns at the exact same height.

Just rotate them back to 0 and it will be fine :)

Yeah, you're right! I thought the angle wouldn't make a difference there, but it did! Thanks guys!
