Hey there, and welcome to the forum ^^

Looking at your error log, this is likely a hint towards the main problem here:
Code:
[Core] Info:    Initializing Graphics
                OpenGL Version: 1.4.0 - Build 8.14.10.1930
                Vendor: Intel
                Renderer: Intel Bear Lake B
                Shading Language Version:
[Core] Warning: Can't determine OpenGL specs, because an error occurred: NullReferenceException at Boolean DualityApp.CheckOpenGLErrors(Boolean): Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

As you can see, the supported OpenGL version of your (onboard?) Intel graphics card is 1.4, but Duality requires at least OpenGL version 2.1. The error you are experiencing is likely caused by simply not meeting the minimum requirements.

Sorry about that. :|

However, if you have one of those laptops with dual GPU setup, make sure to configure your "games" GPU to be active when launching the Duality editor or launcher application. They sometimes don't get that Duality actually needs high-performance graphics and it's their turn to do it. ^^
