Hello community!

I am mad. Good start right? Well, anyway. I was editing a custom component on my testbed-project, got some NullPointerExceptions and fixed it all. Well, while fixing, this funny thing happened: I entered the sandbox mode in the editor and it "closed" the scene I had currently open. After another while, the same thing happened, but backwards; scene "closed" when I stopped the sandbox mode. After this I decided to re-open my project (Quit, then re-opened the editor) and now my scene has nothing in it...

Is there a possibility that I actually saved an empty scene, or is the data just so corrupt that it won't work - is it recoverable? Would be nice if Duality was able to save all the data as-is, even though it has some errors and "red game objects on scene".

Thanks.

Head over to your project folder, Backup \ Scene.Scene.Res (if it's name was different, change it accordingly).

Inside you'll see multiple . res files that are backups of your scene. pick one that is before your "accident" and copy it to your "Data" folder, rename it to the correct name and it should be fixed.

I've done it plenty of times :D
