Hey guys,
I can't figure out how to erase tiles in a tilemap. I want to make it so a tilemap can be an entire map, and not just an individual platform (As no empty space is allowed in a tilemap).

Am I missing something?
For now, I'll just extend the sprite sheet to make a transparent "tile" without a collider.

Here's an image of the toolbar

Yep, that's how you do it. The Tilemaps plugin will detect if a tile is 100% transparent and the TilemapRenderer will skip those during rendering.

Adam could create an eraser to Tilemap Editor if the tileset would start with tile ID 1, instead of 0. Then this zero-tile could be automatically skipped and used as a value for the eraser.
