Hey forum people!

If you've got five minutes to spare and want to throw in your two cents on what you'd like to see covered in a short video tutorial on Duality, please fill out this short survey.

The results are primarily for my own use, but I might release them* as well to serve as an inspiration to those of you who would be interested in joining the tutorial crowd.

Thanks! ^^

* The survey is, of course, anonymous. I don't see who voted and I'll only post aggregated results, not individual survey runs.

Not as many responses as I'd hoped, but let's share them anyway :D

Full names of the tutorial topic points from the above image:
Quote:
  • Tilesets, Tilemaps and related topics
  • Resources in general, ContentRefs, ContentProvider
  • Custom Resources
  • Custom Renderers like HUD, specialized sprites, scrolling backgrounds
  • Render2Texture, PostProcessing, Shaders
  • AssetManager, Import / Export
  • Custom Asset Importers
  • Diagnostics: Profiler, Log, VisualLog
  • The Backend: System, Graphics, Audio
  • Serialization, I/O, SerializeErrorHandler, ISerializeExplicit, ...
  • Custom PropertyEditors
  • Custom Editor Windows
  • Audio: 2D, 3D, Music, Effects
  • Physics
  • Editor plugins

So far both custom Renderers and bigger scope rendering things seem to be a favorite, followed by extending the editor, a Resource deep dive and Serialization stuff.

Thanks everyone for participating! This will help a lot when setting priorities for potential docs and tutorials in the future. :) :1+:
