Hi SirePi,

I tried the frozen UI and this one here. I really like the YAUI I have to admit :) Especially the layouting similar to WPF. It's also easy to use and code based which I favor much more than the editor based frozen UI you also developed. I decided to use YAUI for my prototype. And thank you for publishing the source code. I only integrate such stuff directly with its source to be able to adjust it when needed.

Ah, thanks for the kind words :D hope it will be of use. Of course, if you find anything missing or not working as it should, feel free to drop a line and I'll see what I can do (or you just fix it yourself and let me know :P )
In these days I might be AWOL due to vacations but I'll try to keep up to date if the need arises!

No problem :) I will leave you a message if I need something changed or fixed. But I am still at the begining of my prototype, so don't expect to hear anything soon ^^

Version 1.5.0 is available, with some minor fixes and improvements.

Breaking change
Now GridPanel takes strings instead of floats to define rows and columns sizes.
A value can assume one of the following forms:
  • "number" is meant to be an absolute size, in pixels
  • "number*" is meant to be a variable size; all starred values are added and, after removing the space reserved by absolute values, the remaining is shared between them based on the numeric value (i.e. "2*" will take twice the space of a "1*")

Good and helpful improvement :)

Only one little suggestion: It's some more like WPF by interpreting "*" as "1*". At the moment "*" will cause a FormatException.

Good catch, thanks! I'll add that as soon as possible :)

EDIT: done. Version 1.5.1 is out
