Don't know if this will be of use to your plugin or not, but I just ported the Java binary skeleton reader over to C#. It's quite a bit faster at loading big spine files, and should save you some time in the editor. Note that we haven't updated our fork of the runtime in quite a while for stability, so I skipped a few features that don't exist, like IK and individual bone flipping, but it should be a simple matter of uncommenting the code there if you need those. You can find the file here

It seems that your plugin doesn't work with the latest DualityEditor. AtlasFileImporter.cs IFileImporter misses two implementations, these are:

bool IFileImporter.CanReImportFile (ContentRef<Resource> r, string srcFile)
{
}


void IFileImporter.ReImportFile (ContentRef<Resource> r, string srcFile)
{
}


However, when I implement them, DualityEditor crashes when creating an atlas resource.
