Dafont is a site that has tons of fonts. Quality ranges, but many are 100% free, public domain and free for personal use only.

I think, Google Fonts is also worth mentioning. Although the website talks all about using them on the web and online apps, you can actually download them, and most of them are public domain. Plus, really nice search / filter interface and a large set of high-quality fonts.

On this topic, I would like to use this font, which installs fine in Windows, in Duality.

Unfortunately I get an error that "the file type is not supported" when I try to drag it into the project (in order to distribute it, like I did with a couple others). Maybe it's a new TTF format?

It works as long as you only import a single one of those .ttf files - because they appear to all share the same family name, causing conflicts when importing more than one of them. Not sure this is something I can easily fix on the Duality-side without overhead for all other cases as well.

Instead, you could try to package all of the Fonts styles into a single .ttf file - maybe using one of these "Font management" programs?

I really like FontSquirrel; they usually have good quality, and their webfont generator is great for generating CSS for websites.

I found some really cool fonts here: http://www.awwwards.com/the-100-greates ... -2014.html

Most of them are free for commercial use.

Adding to this list, if you're looking for pixel style bitmap fonts, look through the BitFontMaker2 Gallery - lots of nice custom fonts in there and some of them are even public domain.
