Hi,

I am attempting to add a Tiled importer (*.tmx) to Duality. In the latest repo there is a Tilemap plugin that includes a Resource for Tilesets, but I don't see one for the Tilemap itself?

Id rather just import and convert to your format then re-invent the wheel...

Cleared this up in the chat, but here's a quick summary for anyone else who comes searching:

  • Tilemaps (as in, the actual maps) are part of the Scene, i.e. Components that you attach to a GameObject.
  • Basic intro on how to use Tilemaps is available here.
  • Cross is working on a Tiled importer for Tilemaps as well. Talk to him for more info!

Hey,

So I found and worked through your intro page on Tilemaps.

Its really quite elegent. And your built in editor is in some ways niver then Tiled (and it doesn't persoidically crash!)

SO, Im starting to "Grok" your organization, and I'm off to my next task a happy camper.

Thanks!
